A chaire (tea caddy) by Shinsai Ichino.  8.7 x 5.8 cm.  The box is 8 x 8 x 13 cm.  The potter was born in 1930 and worked with his father, also named Ichino.  This chaire was made in the 1980’s.

Condition is perfect.  The lid is plastic, faux ivory, as it should be for a piece of this age.  The lid is lined with gold foil.  8 ounces.  $175.
