B543.   Nihonto Meikan by Homma and Ishii.  1979.  False leather soft bound with slipcase, 5 ¾ x 7 ½”, 1,684 pages in Japanese (the book is 3 ¼” thick).  This is the bible of Japanese swords.  More than 23,000 smiths are listed with signatures, dates, cross references to other books, and more.  All text; no illustrations.  This is an expensive book in Japan; my price is below what it would cost there.
