B493.  Kishu no Katana To Tsuba by Tokuno.  1986.  Clothbound with slipcase (the slipcase is different from the one in my picture), 8 1/2 x 12″, 285 pages in Japanese.  Beautiful, very well done book.  Hundreds of oshigata of swords from Kishu, some from early Koto and the majority from Shinto and Shinshinto, and at the back of the book, crisp black & white photos of great blades from early Koto.  Great reference.

Condition is almost perfect: one seam of the slipcase has been taped and the book’s spine is slightly sun faded.  4 pounds.  Now $145.
