B137.   The Craft of the Japanese Sword by Kapp & Yoshihara.  1987.  Hardbound, the dust jacket is missing, 7 ½ x 10 ½”, 167 pages in English.  This book does a great job of explaining how the sword, the scabbard, and the habaki are made and how a sword is polished.  Photos in color and black & white, lots of drawings, and a very informative text tell you about the incredible art and skill involved.  When I read this book I came away with a better understanding and even deeper appreciation of these arts; this is inspiring.
