T353.  A shinchu (brass) tsuba with fine inlays.  6.2 x 6.7 x .5 cm at the rim (raised refief elsewhere).  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.5 cm.  This is better than your average brass tsuba.  We have the prow of a boat in shakudo and copper, plants in mixed metals, and a silver crescent moon on the front.  The back is plants and an oar.  The patina does a nice job of suggesting night time.  I think the oar has been dinged in one spot; otherwise condition is fine.  $275.
