T253.  Iron tsuba with extensive gold and silver nunome.  6.7 x 7.1 x .3 cm at the rim.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.6 cm.  I don’t know whether to call this Hizen or Namban or what; I like it though.  Condition is excellent.  The back side with flames and carved background puts me in mind of Munch’s The Scream.  If any of you know what to call this tsuba I’ll add it to the description.  There is a lead plug occupying the bottom half cm. of the nakago hitsu-ana.  Was $300, now $250.
