T242.  Iron tsuba with fine line brass and silver inlay.  6.9 x 6.9 x .5 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.9 cm.  I find this to be a very interesting tsuba, more so than I thought I would when I bought it.  What at first glance looks to be a shakudo fukurin is actually a rim nicely raised from the plate.  The recessed central portion of the plate has carved amida yasuri and inlaid brass and silver to show a cherry or plum tree, grasses, and a cloud.  Near as I can tell, none of the inlay is missing.  There are tekkotsu on the rim and subtle tekkotsu on the plate.  Was $120, now $95.
