T206.  Iron tsuba signed Jakushi. 6.7 x 7.1 x .5 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.3 cm.  A fearsome dragon, picked out in nunome zogan in gold, is carved from the plate.  Interesting treatment of the rim, done in 2 layers with interconnecting rungs (imagine wrapping a ladder around a barrel).  My best guess is that this is later, school work, but what do I know.  Condition is excellent.  $175.
