T201.  Iron tsuba signed Jaushi.  7 x 7.3 x .4 cm.  As expected for Jakushi work a fierce dragon cavorts on the front and hangs a leg over to the back.  Gold (nunome or uttori?) highlights.  Interesting treatment of the rim: I’ve seen the fold lines before but not the intermittent closings found on this piece.  There are remnants of gold on the rim also.  Both hitsu-ana have been plugged with shakudo and one side of one plug is missing.  $325.
