R120.  Nara School kotsuka in brass with copper, silver, and shakudo inlay: 2 herons beside a river and beneath a willow.  1.45 x 9.8 cm.  1st rate carving here: the 2nd heron is hard to pick out but a pleasant surprise once sighted.  Nice kotsuka.  Note: since I took the pictures of this kotsuka, one of the elastic straps in the box has broken.  Was $170, now $110.
