R101.  Boxed fuchi kashira, Nara School, with bats in flight.  Brass or sentoku; the bats are shakudo with gold eyes.  Gold plants next to a stream.  Condition is excellent.  The inside dimensions of the fuchi are 1.9 x 3.5 x 1.2 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.8 cm.  Was $500, now $350.
