Q871. Iron sukashi tsuba. 7.4 x 7.3 x .35 cm. The nakago hitsu-ana is .7 x 2.6 cm. Plovers and Manji (ancient religious symbol) make up the design. The iron is top quality: nice soft patina and subtle tekkotsu on the rim. This tsuba comes with a dealer’s paper from Aoi-Art in Tokyo, giving it to Owari School.
