Q870. Tempo tsuba. 8.8 x 9.3 x .5 cm on the slightly raised rim. The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.6 cm. The Tempo tsuba I’ve had in the past had hot stamped Kanji: characters for Wind or somethig else. This one is, I think, the 1st I’ve seen with hot stamped animals. Rabbits at the bottom and bats above. The two ryo-hitsu are plugged with lead and there are subtle tekkotsu on the rim. Condition is excellent. $375
