Q834. Copper Tsuba with Shakudo Fukurin

Q834. Copper tsuba. 6.8 x 7.2 x .4 cm. The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.5 cm. The sukashi is a nata, a gardening tool or hatchet. and a pair of udenuki-ana at the bottom. Often when a tsuba has a fukurin it is an indication that the tsuba has been reduced in size. Not so here; I believe this one was made this way. The scalloped edge of the fukurin is a nice touch. Condition is excellent, beautiful color of the copper. $495.
