This comes with a Hozon paper from the NBTHK in Tokyo, dated 2004, giving it to Kamiyoshi. There were 3 generations of the Kamiyoshi School, one of the main branches of Higo kodogu. I find it interesting that the NBTHK said Kamiyoshi, not Kodai (later generation) Kamiyoshi. So many pieces come out of recent shinsa with attributions to Kodai some group or, even less definitive, Kodai Higo. Something about this tsuba must have grabbed their attention.
