Q744. Tsuba signed Hidemitsu and a Kao. 6.7 x 7 x .5 cm on the fukurin and on the seppa-dai also. The nakago hitsu-ana is .7 x 2.6 cm.  A gold eyed, fearsome tiger pokes his head out of a grove of bamboo. There is gold inlay ten-zogan dew drops, flowers, and cloud forms; the fukurin is gold as well. The tiger’s head is about 3 mm proud of the surface. A bit of the cloud inlay is missing; all else seems to be intact. Excellent condition. $395. Heck; the salvage value of the fukurin may be worth that alone.
