Q729. Higo tsuba. 7.3 x 7.9 x .35 cm. The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.9 cm. There is the 9 hole Hosokawa mon sukashi at the top and typical for Higo large ryo hitsu. There is a cloud form sukashi at the bottom. I’m sure if this were submitted for shinsa it would be given to kodai (later generation) Higo; a more definite attribution might be made with the distinctive tagane at top & bottom of the nakago ana.
