Q234.  Hotei is one of the Naka Fuku-jin, the 7 gods of good luck.  6.5 x 7.8 x .4 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is 1 x 3 cm.  Hotei is always depicted with his huge bag of treasure and, sure enough, there it is behind him.  The carving is crisp, condition is excellent, and if you buy this tsuba you’re almost guaranteed to win the lottery.  $175.
