Q195.  Tsuba, fuchi kashira, and menuki in shakudo.  The tsuba is 6.7 x 7.3 x .4 cm; its nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.7 cm.  It is signed Nagatake and has gold & shakudo inlay: shishi and peonys.  The inside dimensions of the fuchi are 1.8 x 3.3 x 1.2 cm tall.  Shishi and peony again: gold and shakudo on fine nanako ground.  The menuki are 3.6 & 3.7 cm long.  One shows a type of headwear worn by ciurt nobles; the other is a crescent moon and plants with dew drops.  The tsuba is quite nice, the fuchi kashira is better, and the menuki are better still.  All in a fitted box; in great condition.  $995.
