Q113.  Mino Goto kinko tsuba.  7.5 x 8.2 x .6 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.9 cm.  The Aoi-Art laminated appraisal sheet for this tsuba says, “Unsigned Mino Goto School, Late Edo period.  Special feature: on the mokko styled shakudo plate, many kiku flowers are engraved with gold color.  Mimi also engraved kiku flowers with gold color.  This item is gorgeous nice item.”  I agree, it is gorgeous nice.  The gold color is gold, by the way and the rim is pretty much entirely covered in flowers.  In a fitted box and in immacualte condition.  $750.
