Q109.  Tsuba in brass.  6.8 x 7.4 x .35 cm.  Tha nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.5 cm.  2 figures: one old, venerable, and holding a gunbai (war fan) and the other reading a book on a table beside a waterfall; I’m sure there is a story here but no idea which.  Condition is excellent except for a stain on the back.  This comes in a fitted box and with a certificate from Aoi-Art in Tokyo saying the scene is heartwarming, that the people are Chinese, and that the value was 50,000 Yen in 2002.  $245.
