M169.  Iron sukashi tsuba.  7.3 x 7.4 x .33 cm.  This tsuba is signed but I haven’t been able to read the signature.  I really like this one.  Dense plate with great soft patina and tiny specks of iron standing proud of the surface all over.  The tsuba sparkles, which I’ve been told is a sign that it was made of sa-tetsu (sand iron).  Condition is perfect.  $375.
