M122.  Iron.  6.5 x 7 x .55 cm.  Signed, Sagami no Kami Yoshimichi..  A previous owner has left a tag on the tsuba saying, “This is a Yamashiro Province swordsmith YO920 (Hawley’s code for the smith).  This man worked ca 1751.  He is the 2nd generation.”  I don’t know if this is a true signature of Yoshimichi but this is a very well worked, dense plate; could be.  There is evidence of folding (lamination) visible on the rim.  $200.
