K225.  Iron tsuba with shakudo dragons.  8.7 x 8.9 x .3 cm at the slightly raised rim.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.5 cm.  The iron plate is 2 mm (quite thin) ad covered in tekkotsu; the dragons are great.  Unfortunately, one of the dragons has lost his head, a pity because this once was a very special tsuba.  If not for the loss I’d be asking a lot more for this one but, alas, it is what it is.  Wonder what a competent tsuba-shi would charge to replace the loss.  $175.
