K143.  Iron sukashi tsuba: cranes in flight.  6.5 x 6.7 x .3 cm at the rim (.55 cm at the seppa-dai).  The nakago hitsu-ana is.7 x 2.3 cm.  A former owner’s tag says Sosho Senryuken Hidenaga; with a grass script mei I’m not qualified to argue with him.  There is a Kao in inlaid gold.  Great movement with the cranes, quite nicely done on a Go stone shaped plate.  Condition is excellent.  $475.
