J130.  Iron tsuba, Choshu School.  7.6 x 8.2 x .4 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is.7 x 2.7 cm.  2 ships are finely carved on the front and a mountain above water and 2 small objects I don’t recognize on the back.  Although unsigned, this is classic Choshu work.  This tsuba was at one time sold by Bonhams.  Condition is excellent.  $350.
