J121.  Namban tsuba.  6.9 x 7.3 x .5 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is.8 x 2.5 cm.  The tsuba’s owner calls this Qing import, Kanton (Sino-Tibetan).  He knows more thn I do so I won’t argue.  Water dragons in karakusa that is under cut and crosses over other tendrils.  The gilt double rim is a very nice touch.  $350.
