J106.  Iron sukashi tsuba with a paper giving it to Akao School.  7.6 x 7.7 x .6 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.8 cm.  The paper is Kicho Token, issued by the NBTHK in 1975.  The plate feels dense and condition is excellent.  $400.
