H403.  Skip Holbrook’s tag reads, “Tochibata School, Momoyama period”.  6.2 x 6.5 x .5 cm at the rim (this tsuba is dished on both sides; it is thinest at the seppa-dai).  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.9 cm.  The rim is very nicely carved with a rope twist and the surface is soft patina and in mint condition.  $115.
