H394.  Ji sukashi tsuba with a shakudo fukurin.  8.2 x 8.3 x .2 cm (very thin).  The nakago hitsu-ana is.7 x 2.4 cm.  Another Holbrook tsuba, Skip’s tag reads, “Katchushi, Matsudaira Mon, Silver Inlay, Traces Inkebori, Momoyama Period”.  This one is interesting.  The plate has been carved with a floral pattern, worn down over time, and the whole of the nakago ana is lined with copper.  It won’t show in my pictures but the fukurin has incredibly fine spiral carving/filing.  Condition is excellent.  $375.
