Q865. Soten tsuba. 6.5 x 7.1 x .4 cm. The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.4 cm. Deep black, luscious shakudo (better than shown in my pictures) with lots of gold inlay. This is signed, Goshu Hikone Ju Nyudo Soheishi Soten Sei. As Soten tsuba go, this one is much better than average. The closer I look the more I see. There is so much fine detail, expertly done and in amazing condition. The tsuba comes with two papers: Tokubetsu Kicho from the NBTHK dated 1979 and NTHK, dated 2011. No one can be disappointed with this one; it is special. $795.
