F119.  Iron tsuba with gold (I believe) inlay, signed “Yamashiro no Kuni Nishijin no Ju Umetada Shigemitsu.”  6.7 x 7 x .45 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.6 cm.  Dense iron with subtle tekkotsu on the rim, finely carved (love the expression on the face) and in excellent condition.  $435.
