C333. Sukashi tsuba with brass inlay. 8.4 x 8.8 x .5 cm. The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.9 cm. A former owner has given this to Heianjo Zogan or possibly Aizu Shoami. The brass inlay is really interesting and appears to be close to, if not completely, 100% intact. There are subtle tekkotsu on the mimi; condition is excellent. The tsuba comes with a good quality box and pillow. There is a small label on the edge of the box, in Japanese, stating Heianjo Zogan Tsuba. A larger label in English is pasted to the top of the box. $475.
