C328. Thick iron tsuba. 7.7 x 7.8 x .55 cm. The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.9 cm. Gold nunome zogan has been applied to the mitsu tomoe sukashi and the bevel on the large ryo-hitsu. The back of the ryo-hitsu is rimmed with silver nunome zogan. The front is carved with fine vertical lines of rain. Doubtless some of the nunome is missing but I like it better this way; if it were all present it would be too bright. Was $325, now $250.
