The 2 generations of Futagoyama Norisuke and their school worked in late Edo period, making their own designs and also making utsushi, work in the style of other groups. This tsuba is in the style of Yamakichibei, with tekkotsu on the rim and a yakite (melted) surface. The sukashi is a sedge hat, the Hozon paper from the NBTHK in Tokyo is dated 2021, and condition is pristine. $525.
