C263.  Higo tsuba.  7.3 x 7.9 x .4 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.8 cm.  Cloud form at the bottom and Hosokawa (patron of the Higo kodogu-shi) Mon at the top, separated by typical for Higo large ryo-hitsu, on a fine iron plate that is thicker at the seppa dai than at the rim and with a wonderful, soft patina: quite nice.  Condition is excellent.  $350.
