C245.  Iron tsuba with extensive silver (and some gold) inlay.  7.5 x 8.1 x .3 cm at the rim (this tsuba is slightly Go stone shape, thicker at the seppa-dai).  The nakago hitsu-ana is.7 x 2.9 cm.  Hizen, specifically Nagasaki, is a likely source for the work and 19th century also makes sense (according to the consignor).  The iron is in excellent condition; maybe 10% of the silver is gone.  $100.
