C232.  Iron sukashi tsuba.  6.7 x 7 x .45 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.6 cm (note: the nakago hitsu-ana has been notched to accept a spring clip for mounting to Gunto).  The collector who has consigned this tsuba to my site thinks it might be Owari; I, of course, don’t know.  There are subtle tekkotsu on the rim and the patina is very nice.  Now $125.
