Hawley.  1966.  Semi hardbound, 6 x 8″, 492 pages in English.  This is the larger volume of Hawley’s 2 volume set.  There are a few pages of misc. at the front of the book; the vast majority of the pages are given to a list of swordsmiths with names & signatures in both English and Japanese, dates, provinces, and a relative point value; maybe 10,000 smiths are included.  This is the book you take with you to a show: it gives you everybody important and is small enough to carry easily.  I have also the 2 volume set and later editions of Japanese Swordsmiths. Condition is excellent.  1 pound, 6 ounces.  $150
