B920.  Zuroku: Satsuma no Katana To Tsuba.  1970.  Clothbound with cardboard storage box, plastic jacket and slipcase, 7 1/4 x 10 1/2″, 361 pages in Japanese.  Great blades and great tsuba from Satsuma are illustrated in Black & white photography and well done oshigata.  All the major smiths and many less important are here.  This is a wonderful reference for the Province.  I have a digital copy of an English index for this book.  If you buy the book be sure to remind me to send you the index.

The slipcase has split along a corner for a few inches on the spine; the slipcase still serves fine to protect the book. A former owner’s name and address have been stamped/written inside the back cover. Condition of the book is excellent.  3 pounds, 4 ounces.  Now $150.
