B770.  Toko taikan by Tokuno.  1975.  Clothbound, the dust jacket is missing, 5 ¼ x 7 ½”, 794 pages in Japanese.  Thousands of Swordsmiths, many listings with oshigata, are presented.  A useful book if for no other reason than for the relative rankings of the smiths, which serves to give you a good idea of the value of a particular sword.  It’s nice also that the book is small and easily carried to shows.  Also included is an index in English.
