B424.  Die Schwertzieraten der Provinz Higo  1905.  Softbound, 7 x 10″, 62 pages in German.  This is the Japanese book Higo Kinkroku by Nagaya (see B930) in translation.  Sharp black & white photos and ample text show off the great work of the Higo masters.  The book does not appear ever to have been read; the top edges of every other page are folded over but haven’t been cut apart (see my last picture)..  I’ll leave it to you to separate the pages unless you ask me to do it for you.

Condition is excellent.  7 ounces.  Was $75, now $50.
