B332.  Hizen no Katana To Tsuba by Fukunaga & Terada.  1974.  2 volumes, clothbound in slipcases, 7 ½ x 10 ¼”, 370 & 357 pages in Japanese.  Inscribed, by the authors I presume. Volume 1 introduces the school of Hizen and all the different lines of smiths, with photos, drawings, and oshigata.  Volume 2 is hundreds of photos and oshigata of great blades, with a chapter about and with photos of Hizen koshirae.  Great reference for those of us who care about Hizen.

One of the slipcases (not the ones in my picture) has had the spine loose and taped back in place (upside down). A former owner’s name and stamp are on the front end papers. The books are in excellent condition.  6 pounds, 14 ounces.  Was $225, now $95.
