B331.  Hizento Taikan: Tadayoshi Hen by Dr. Homma.  1979.  Clothbound with slipcase, 10 ½ x 14 ½”, 391 pages in Japanese.  At the beginning of the book are photos of graves, oshigata of swords and signatures, family trees for the different groups in Hizen, and pictures of Hizen horimono (carving on the blade).  The bulk of the book is given to large photos (nice & crisp) and oshigata (well done) of great swords by the Hizen masters.  This is a very impressive book.

A former owner has written Higo & Sato on the spine of the slipcase, which is showing just a bit of shelf wear. tThe book is in excellent condition.  10 pounds, 2 ounces.  Now $200.
