Tsuba Kodogu Gadai Jiten by Numata Kanji.  1974.  2 volumes, clothbound with slipcases, 6 1/2 x 9 1/4″, 565 and 492 pages in Japanese.  These volumes explain the themes found on kodogu.  Volume 1 is Japanese and Chinese people, events, and places, and volume 2 is animals, plants, and things.  Hundreds of photos, some in color, most in black & white.  Beautiful book.

The book, not the copy in my 1st picture which is from one I sold earlier, but similar, is in great condition.  6 pounds, 10 ounces. I have this book here with me and also one with a consignor in Europe. You will be buying the set closest to you (remind me of this). Was $300; now $150.
