C120.  Japanese Sword Guards Museum of Fine Arts Boston: Plates Only.  There is a handwritten note on the front cover stating “Published in 1913”.  35 loose sheets and 2 loose covers, 6 x 9”, in English.  These are the separately published photographic plates from an earlier book (see my listing C119).  69, I think, fine tsuba are presented in crisp black & white photos and with a short caption.

The front cover has 2 rips, a few creases, and a couple corners missing.  The back cover has a missing corner.  The plates have a few short rips and a few tiny corners gone.  Otherwise all is well.  7 ounces.  $35
