B954.  Ichinomiya Nagatsune:Tsuruga Ga Hokoru Kin no Takumi.  2009.  Softbound, 8 1/4 x 11 3/4″, 87 pages in Japanese.  Nagatsune was born in 1722 and he died in 1786.  He studied painting and moved on to kodogu.  His work is very highly respected and this book well illustrates why.  Not only do we get to see his kodogu but also his sketches and tools, paintings and drawings, and those of his friend and contemporary Maruyama Okyo, whose work he incorporated into his pieces.  Beautiful book that is devilishly difficult to find; this is my 2nd copy ever.
