$25.00
B817. A Brief History of Japanese Sword Fittings Artisans. A translation by Henri Joly and Alan Harvie of Hompo Soken Kinko Ryakushi by Wada Tsunashiro. 2009 by The Northern California Japanese Sword Club. Spiral bound, 8 1/2 x 11″, 229 pages. This book is a very thorough discussion of tsuba: when and by whom they were made, arranged by time and school, covering both iron and kinko, and so much more. At the end you’ll find the original Japanese index and an alphabetized in English index. Great reference.
Condition is excellent. 1 pound, 14 ounces. $25. I have a 2nd copy that has some scuffing, loss of ink on the front cover; all else about the book is fine. This one can be had for $15.
