B816.  Namban Tsuba by Yoshimura Shigeta.  1998.  Softbound, 5 3/4 x 8 1/4″, 108 pages in Japanese.  For all the recent interest in Namban Tsuba there is little in print on the subject; this and Dr. Lissenden’s book are all I know of.  Since I started my site I’ve been looking for a copy of this book; they rarely come available.  The first 16 tsuba are shown in color; the next 81 are in black & white.  Quite fun to see the great variety in what gets tossed into the group.
