B1002.  Les Gardes De Sabre Japonaise by Poncetton.  1924.  Hardbound folio, 12 1/4 x 17″, a 28 page text block in French and 50 loose, heavy paper plates.  The text is arranged by smiths and schools.  The plates (1 in color, the rest black & white) have 1 to 4 tsuba each.  Nice tsuba; must have been quite the collection.

The spine of the binding is missing and has been replaced with duct tape.  The page block is loose, the tie tapes of the cover are gone, corners have been bumped and there are a few light stains on the cover.  The text block and plates are in great condition for the age.  5 pounds.  Was $175, now $65.
